Trojan War, 21st Century Style

Didn’t get any writing done today (yesterday, now I guess) because I have been riding a Trojan horse chasing Trojan Vundo viruses. My son-in-law was here to help earlier and we thought we had killed them dead. They must carry those portable resuscitators because as soon as my knight in shining armor left, they rose to fight again.

I have been going through a drill at least weekly where two to five of these devils show up. My anti-virus software kills some, but a few dodge the arrows. Then, wonder of wonders, new files appear as if reincarnations of their predecessors. Of course, these new files are infected with the Trojan Vundo virus.

While researching the web information on these evil forces, I may have inadvertently solved the problem. Time will tell. I connected to a robot service technician and began to type my question to my anti-virus software provider, when a message appeared on the screen. My software had detected a virus and deleted it. Since only one virus had remained after the end of tonight’s battle, I’m hoping the battle is won, if not the war. Most days I’m up to the fight. My virus detection software is running this moment and I shall not rest until its report is ready.

Then I will sleep and prepare to fight again tomorrow, if necessary.
