Stories from My Life

Today I started listing on an index page, stories from my life that I have already written. Stories from My Life may be the title of my memoir collection, with the sub-title: Memoirs of a Late Blooming Author.

I’m printing out articles that may overlap each other to read together and fill in things I may have forgotten in one version, but put in another. It is encouraging that I already have a few thousand words, mostly about my childhood years. As I mentioned before, I’ve written up an employment history. I also have a section called “School Days.”

It seems I’ve saved the most difficult reminiscences for last. Dating days and marriages will be hard to write. A lot of those experiences I’d rather forget. But, they are a part of my life. Without them, I’d not have my two children and I wouldn’t change that.

More elaboration on my writing over the last fifteen years will probably be appropriate to add, also. I’ll save that for last--for dessert.
