Rock It, Baby

You Tube is a phenomenon I know very little about. It is fascinating and I fear it could become the greatest theft of time since Solitaire. Recently on a writers? ezine, I ran across this remarkable video that features some really senior citizens. What a kick they are!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqfFrCUrEbY

It is wonderful to see so many oldsters having the time of their lives moving and shaking. I’ve had the pleasure of hearing several groups of older musicians and seeing older dancers and actors in the last few years. I’m looking forward to some short videos with older actors that should be appearing soon on you tube.

My energy has declined noticeably, but my ambition to get more writing done is still alive and well. Yesterday I worked on the chapter I’m writing for a younger gal’s book about life after age fifty. I think it’s nearly complete, or at least contains as much information as I want to share with the whole wide world before I publish my memoir stories.

It was fun recalling some of the many adventures I’ve had in the last 28 years and I found myself typing so fast my fingers couldn’t keep up (at least not on the right keys).

Monday I’m having lunch with an old friend I haven’t seen in a while. I?m hoping to have her read over what I’ve written and critique it for me, if she’s willing. She may also contribute to the book and, if so, I’d do the same for her, if she wished.

Had a great day outdoors in the sun today with a swim and a hot tub dip.
