Writing Contests

For about ten years, I entered writing contests every Spring and Fall. The last few years, working on books, I have ignored the contests. Now it’s Spring and I have a few new poems, so I think I’ll give them a try. That should keep me out of mischief for several hours tomorrow.

Today I got my desk cleared off, ready for action. The mail brought more exciting cruise offers. Oh, temptation. We will look into one cruise from Lisbon to Venice with a number of exciting stops between.

I finished enough chores today to be happy about my efforts. So I’m watching a little TV while the last load of laundry dries.

Tomorrow, back to writing and contests.
