Another Month Gone at the Speed of Light

All the last day of the month stuff is done, i.e. paying bills, updating Quicken and backing it up, etc. The credit union and I still disagree on what my balance is, but since it’s in my favor, I’m not anxious to track it down.

Tomorrow morning will bring another session of swimming and water exercise. Usually a nap follows all that activity and then I’m reenergized to tackle writing tasks.

The money I had planned to spend on a writers’ conference this weekend has been re-routed to book promotion. I’ll skip the conference and get my books up on more websites. I’ve been very lazy about promotion.

I’m trying to psych myself up to take the Find Romance in Later Life books around to retirement centers and senior centers and do workshops or just little talks. My intent when I wrote the book was to help people who didn’t know where to start to find companionship in later life. If I can’t get the books into their hands somehow, my efforts will be wasted.

I’d much rather sit and write stories, especially stories about my life. Stay tuned to see which route I take. As I write this, I don’t have a clue
