Touching Up Tales

After my morning swim, I finished one of the stories that turned up yesterday. When it was done, I realized it could be integrated with another story in that time frame. That might be a good project to take on the cruise on the 14th. We like to keep our luggage down to a minimum, so I won’t be taking the notebook computer. However, I could print both pieces triple spaced and mark them up to be put together on the computer when we get back.

Many of the memoir tales already completed need tuning up and polishing. I could print a few of those and take them along to edit also.

There are still many stories to be written. Most of what I’ve accumulated so far covers the first third of my life. Although I have done some writing about travels in the last ten or fifteen years, there are big gaps between those two eras. In telling my stories, I’ve not left the best for last, so it may take a while to fill in those gaps.

I hope to stay focused on this project until it’s better organized. It seems if I drift away to do other things, it’s hard to get back in the saddle. Sad to say, I’m losing my multi-tasking skills of yore.
