Sourcery(What I need to get to the source of my computer trouble) Night-before-the-Rose-Festival-Parade black clouds are dominating the evening sky. I just barely made it home from the pool this afternoon before a drenching rain shower arrived in our area. Our garden and flowers loved the soaking. I hope the rain showers predicted for tomorrow morning fall more gently on parade viewers. In my later years, I’m pretty satisfied with having been born when I was. There are a lot of things looming on the horizon that I probably won’t live to see, and that’s just fine with me. Many of them are frightening. Some might be fun to hang around for, but nobody lives forever. Sometimes, especially when some of my computer equipment is acting up, I wish I’d been born at the right time to grow up with computers. Then trying to figure out why a particular piece of software won’t do what it’s supposed to might be a little easier. Computerese might as well be Chinese or Greek as far as my comprehension is concerned. Because I’ve recently been confronted with a software glitch that prevents me from downloading any pdf files, I’ve got to spend some time trying to trace the problem back to its source. My directional disability is severe enough when I’m navigating public thoroughfares. The prospect of navigating the jungle of computer innards is overwhelming.
It seems as if every other file I receive is in pdf format these days. I don’t know why it’s so popular. Anyway, I need to get busy troubleshooting.
