Pushing Papers AroundThis dreary day was perfect for paper shuffling. Now I have many little stacks of papers to be filed. There should be a good day for filing in the next few rainy days. It’s hard to get motivated to do that kind of work when the sun is bright and beckoning me to come outside. In my pre-computer days, I actually thought I would use less paper when I had a computer. How wrong I was. I use a lot more paper now, but I do use both sides whenever I can. To prove I still have a few multi-tasking skills, I did my paper shuffling in between upgrading software on my two computers. I upgraded my Adobe Reader in the hope that I can get it to be more responsive to my commands. My first task of the day was to reinstall my AOL software, which had somehow gone into self-destruct mode overnight. Sometime I’ll have to stay up all night and see what these tricky computers are up to while I’m sleeping. < < back |
