Red Rain

Weird weather we’re having. With sunset reddening the sky, it’s raining. It was about 80 degrees this afternoon. The morning was lovely and I had a long swim. The forecast for tomorrow is 83 degrees for the high and showers. Our climate is acting tropical.

It was a day of muddling through memoir stories. Determining which, if any, are actually finished and in what order they should be collected. Should I include all the travel journals?

All three of my husbands are deceased now, but I still need to be careful of their children’s feelings when I talk about their fathers.

One adventure was changing a story I had written in third person because it was too painful at the time to do it in first person. Substituting me for her and I for she, etc., using the Find and Replace editing features created some interesting non-words such as, otme for other, and a variety of interesting combinations.

The thunder just arrived. I knew it was coming. We haven’t had hail or snow yet, but just wait.
