Seating for Non-Noise Polluters Only

Please tell me that, when airlines begin allowing cell phones and wi-fi on flights, they will designate a non-electronic section for those of us who think flying is unpleasant enough already.

Actually, having non-cell phone sections in restaurants might encourage some of us to eat out more often. There are so few places one can escape cell phones now. Neither public libraries nor public restrooms are sacrosanct.

Must we hide out in our homes to have peace and quiet? Even that only works for those of us whose children are grown and have flown. Enough griping.

Back to the Memoirs

Several hours today were devoted to merging existing life stories and eliminating duplications, a tedious task. I should be able to finish it up tonight or tomorrow and begin adding new stories. I have mixed feelings about starting original tales again--somewhere between joyous anticipation and fearful dread.

Unlike fairy tales, not all true-life stories have happy endings.
