Retrofit Journaling

A good day to be inside, organizing and editing stories for memoirs. It goes faster when I stay with it and work through the list of titles. All the stories that are written have been edited now. Time to bite the bullet and write some new ones. Actually, I’m anxious to get started.

There are a group of travel journals that I need to decide about editing and possibly incorporating into the stories. I’ll let that rest for now, while I work on new stories.

There are also pictures and poems that I will need to sort and decide whether or not to sprinkle through the book of stories.

What I’ve written so far pretty well covers the first thirty years of my life, with numerous glimpses into later years. The middle years are a challenge to write about. I’m sure it will be easier when I get to the last fifteen years or so. In spite of the aches and pains of aging, retirement is really great.
