Busy Wednesday

This morning we spent four hours in a chilly conference room at Meridian Park Hospital, taking the 55 Alive Driver Refresher Course sponsored by AARP. The name of the course is being changed because it’s being offered to younger drivers now, also. We will go back tomorrow for another four hours to finish up. I will bundle up and then peel off layers when we go back outside.

This is the third time I’ve taken this course, which is mostly common sense, but gives us an update on the driving laws. It should also give us a discount on auto insurance.

This afternoon three members of the writers’ critique group had a good meeting to offer editing suggestions for each other’s manuscripts. After that, I had a swim and a nap.

I?m feeling upbeat about how my memoirs are progressing. I want to create a catchy title even if only a few relatives are interested in such a book. The method of publishing will need some study before I decide, also.
