A Good Morning

This morning is off to an auspicious start. I found the manual for my computer and took my partner’s advice: “RTFM.” Read the bleep manual. The recalcitrant computer resisted my efforts to follow the manual’s instructions at first. Then, the software I needed to get it to write to a CD magically appeared. Of course this was only after it told me about a dozen times that program could not be installed.

At any rate, I now have two files on a CD and hope that when I return from Seattle in a week, I’ll be able to remember how I browbeat my nemesis into obedience.
