Remember Whens

This is a week of remember whens. My three sisters and I are together in Seattle this week. We are separated by eight years, born in two sets. The elder two are two years apart, then there are four years between, and the younger set are two years apart. Thus, we remember different eras in our parents’ lives.

It is also a week of many laughs. Some of the tears are caused by uproarious laughter; a few are sad.

We are attempting to see as many friends and relatives as possible. We all lived in Seattle for part of our lives, so have different memories and friends.

Tomorrow we visit a cousin and her husband on Vashon Island. Sunday we meet my partner’s niece and her partner for a meal and a visit.

A video of a party in 1987 with many old friends contributed to a delightful evening last night.

And so the week continues until we depart for home on Monday morning.
