A Fun VisitThis computer used to put the correct date in every day for me when I began typing the name of the month. Lately it just puts up whatever date pops into its puny little mind, so I have to watch it and correct it when necessary. Today we had a really fun time with my cousin and his wife. They live in Scappoose, home of the sauerkraut festival, held there this weekend. Yesterday they partook of the sauerkraut and the festivities. They are both crafty people, who work with rubber stamps to make greeting cards, coasters, journals and other lovely items. He brought some samples of a new process he has learned. The cousins very kindly looked at all our trip pictures, then we all went out to dinner together. When we returned, we played cards for a couple of hours. My luck was unusually good, maybe due to the new deck of cards I’d bought. Last night I started on our cruise report with an account of boarding the ship and preparing for our first day at sea. Tonight I read it over and realized that I hadn’t remembered the details correctly. Forgetting is the best thing I do these days.
Back to the drawing board, as they say, or more accurately, to the keyboard.
