FavoritesTonight I went through my list of “Favorites” or bookmarked websites as some call them. I actually managed to delete a few. While I’m sure there are far too many left, most of them still hold some interest for me. As usual, I’ve resolved to screen them more often, but it probably won’t happen. Earlier today I edited and/or revised a number of travel pages I’ve written recently, as well as several other pieces of writing that needed work. I still have a large stack of work to be edited, but it’s encouraging to have made a small dent at least. Every once in a while I find a copy of a piece of writing to revise that is not in either of the computers I’m using now. The dilemma then is whether it is more time consuming to keyboard it into a computer, or wade through all my backup disks, CD’s etc., to see if it’s on one of them. At my typing speed, it’s probably faster to re-keyboard a short piece, which is what I have in hand at the moment. Because I’ll be going to Seattle next Wednesday and will return the following Wednesday, I prepared my homework for my Thursday writing class today also. Before the trip, I must get the oil changed on my car. I guess I can do that Monday. Today I got my flu shot, so that’s taken care of for this year. I hope to have time to try loading some of the files that are backed up from my desktop on my flash drive onto my laptop. If I can’t get it done before I leave, I can try to do it in Seattle and possibly get some help from one of my sisters.
I bought a mini-mouse for my laptop because I hate the pad style mouse that’s built-in. “Mini” is a bit temperamental, however, and won’t work on a mouse pad or a smooth surface. I may have to take her board along.
