Tripping to Seattle

Since I’ll be in Seattle over the first of next month, I’m happy that I have almost all my bills set up to be paid automatically. The credit cards are not included because I want to eyeball the charges before they are paid. However, I’m set up to push a button on the computer and pay them when I’ve checked them out. I don’t have Quicken on my laptop, but I can access the accounts online and pay them from wherever I can connect to a phone line.

I hope to be able to do a few entries for my blog while I’m up there also, using my sister’s phone line.

My car is pretty much ready to go now. I may clean it up a little more, but I got the oil changed today. Now I just have to finish packing and get myself ready to leave early Wednesday.

Practice doesn’t seem to be improving my luck at Scrabble. We played three or four games last night and I lost them all. My sisters will be happy to hear that I’m such an easy mark.

It’s always fun to be with my sisters and to be in Seattle to hear about my old school chums?those who are still around anyway. Next year will be the 60th anniversary of my high school graduation. If there’s a celebration, I hope to be there. I made the 50th, but missed the 55th. I suppose I should start dieting now for next summer’s reunion, if any. Maybe after I get back from this trip, I’ll start. Just maybe.
