A Fairly Quiet Day

We had a somewhat quieter day today. The two younger sisters went to exercise class and to a luncheon at the Lake Washington home of one of that group. Bea and I visited in the morning and had lunch together, then she went to the dentist and I worked at my computer.

In late afternoon three of us began playing Scrabble, then had a wonderful turkey dinner. Bea and Margy picked up Fran at her house about 6:30 and brought her here to Bea’s to play more Scrabble with us. I don’t think I won a single game today. I lost one by one point. Close but no cigar. We did have a good time, however. Fran is on her way home now. I am the eldest, but seldom the first one to bed. More often I’m the last.

We all want to get a good night’s sleep tonight. We will have a group of cousins here for dinner tomorrow afternoon and want to be able to visit with as many of them as possible. I’ll get this posted and check my email before I hit the sack.
