Goodbye Sunshine

Here I am again, writing this too late to get it posted on today’s date. The old blog clock switches over at midnight, whether I’m ready or not.

Tonight we switched to playing Cribbage, which neither of us remembers how to play very well. We started out with the rules in hand, until some of it started coming back. We had played Spite and Malice for so long that I was getting spiteful or malicious or both. I lost four games out of six at Cribbage, partly because I kept forgetting which direction I was pegging on the board. Mostly because I didn’t get decent cards. Oh well, better luck next time--I certainly hope.

We are still having less than delightful weather--wet and cold and dark. Winter lurks outside so I stay in. I should be writing about our trips to Mexico, instead of editing the Alaskan cruise travelogue. At least I could bask in the memory of the sun.

Maybe we’ll go somewhere warm after the first of the year, who knows?
