A Litany of Rants

My mood this week seems to be rant-like. Yesterday I was upset about not finding Coffee Tamer and not getting much help from store personnel. Today I went to another store and tried again (I never learn). The clerk and the manager had never heard of the product, but the experience was much more pleasant. They suggested Starbucks. I’d tried that before, but things change so I gave it another shot. Those baristas can brew complicated caffeine concoctions, full of acid, but never heard of acid-reducing Coffee Tamer.

However, as I wandered out of the store, it occurred to me this product’s manufacturer probably has a website where I could find out how to purchase it. True, they do. They even have a toll-free number and an online ordering process. I tried the toll-free number and found that it was a voice mail connection, so I managed to successfully order three boxes online. That will produce 150 cups of acid-reduced coffee or fewer, if I choose to use some of it in wine.

Tune in tomorrow for my rant about television shows with audiences directed to shout, stomp, whistle and applaud on cue. Who needs to listen to that racket?
