Computer Scare

This computer put me in a cold sweat earlier after I started writing a blog entry. The Word program suddenly disappeared and ate my work. I started getting weird messages about not enough memory to run most anything at all. Fearing a meltdown, and unable to run the Help program even, I restarted the computer and so far, so good. I think I’d better update my backups, however.

Al’s son Steve is visiting tonight instead of tomorrow. He brought us some pictures of Al’s adorable great-grandson who is now nearly six months old. Steve is the young grandfather of the baby and very proud.

I’m trying to learn how to put pictures in my blog, but this old brain doesn’t wrap itself around new-fangled ideas as well as it once did.

It is a dark and stormy night, like many winter nights in these parts, and very wet. It’s nice to be inside, warm and dry.
