Bill Gates’ Big Joke

Sometimes I wonder if Bill Gates and his ilk go home at night and laugh gleefully at how they have confounded the ancient brains of this “civilization?” I haven’t pulled out all my hair yet, nor is it totally gray, but if I keep messing with these newfangled gadgets, I may get there yet.

I think the above results are more likely than actually getting to a point where I feel comfortable transferring information from one computer to another, using CD’s and/or a flash drive. I had hoped to get some files moved to my laptop before we leave on our trip so I could work on them on the road. Based on past experience, that probably wouldn’t happen even if I did get everything transferred that I wanted. But I live in hope.

Instead, I think I will just relax and content myself with writing up some of the travel experiences on my laptop. That should make it easier to get the journals put together when we get back
