Quiet Sunday

We spent a restful, quiet Sunday at home. I did a few household chores indoors, by working a while, sitting a while at the computer, sleeping a while and starting over. I’m carefully eating solid food and getting a little more energy.

I finally unpacked the laptop, transferred a copy of the travel logs to a CD, and copied them from the CD to my desktop computer. After a little editing, I posted two sections to the travel pages on my website. For some reason there is still a typo in Part Two of Ship Ahoy on the travel page, even though I corrected it in the control panel. I’ll have to consult my web master to find out what I’m doing wrong.

Using the laptop while traveling is going to be very satisfactory I can see. I wish I had done it earlier. Now I’m anxious to get some instruction and start integrating digital photos into the travel logs.

I stepped outside a few minutes to scan the yard. Whatever the weather has been doing, my primroses obviously love it. They are blooming in luscious colors: hot pink, maroon, gold, etc. The dusty miller’s a little bedraggled, probably from being severely cut back so we can use the sidewalk. One brave azalea out front has a couple of red blossoms. I think it’s the third time it’s bloomed this year. What a showoff! Some small daffodils are blooming and a hyacinth. Can spring be far behind?

The weather warnings are rousing the rabble with hints of snow next week. Give us a break!
