Consumer ConfusionBuying a new vacuum cleaner seems like a good idea right now. That decision came easily. The hard part is deciding which one to buy. I’d like less dust, so maybe a bagless one would be best. I don’t want it to be heavy or hard to push and I’d like it to have tools with it for cleaning furniture, drapes, etc. I notice there are cordless vacuums available now, also. Life was so much simpler when there were fewer choices. I know I don’t want that robotic vacuum that wanders willy-nilly around the house--too expensive and too independent. A sale at Fred Meyer this week beckons me to get over there and pick something out. I’m going to do my best to do that tomorrow. Friday I’m leaving for a writer’s workshop and will be gone most of the weekend. For one reason or another, I’ve not taken in a writing workshop for about three years, so I’m really looking forward to this one. I might even sell a book or two, who knows?
Wish me luck to select the perfect vacuum cleaner for an old lady to operate. Most every large item I buy these days, seems to whisper it’s probably my last such purchase.
