Novels vs. Reality

Since I’ve read at least three novels in the last month, I’ve noticed that all of them, and most mystery stories, have gorgeous heroines and hunky heroes. Boring. Where’s the reality? You hear every day that obesity is epidemic in this country. All the movers and shakers, all the lovers, all the criminals, even, are not Barbie and Ken.

Maybe I’ll have to write my own book with ugly characters who flirt, and flop in and out of bed with each other. Maybe there are some such books out there I haven’t noticed. I guess I’ll have to do some research.

Anyway, back to my own reality trying to get on top of computer manipulations. Today I struggled to edit the pictures we pulled off the digital camera. They are all on a CD. I can pull them into the computer with the CD, but can’t seem to get any of my editing software to work. Maybe I really don’t have any editing software or maybe I haven’t found the right one yet. Tomorrow is another day.
