Warm and Dry in Front of My Computer

With the wild storm we had today it was a good time to stay inside and sit at the computer and so I did. I picked out some poems to send to contests, did some revisions and even checked out my bank statement. That took a while. When I first started using Quicken, I always balanced to the penny, every month. For some reason, lately I’ll be off a few dollars. Since I check off all the credit union’s entries against the Quicken entries, the only way I could goof up is to transpose a number and not find it. In my biased opinion, my time is too valuable to spend looking for a $2.00 error. If the bank says I’m short big bucks, I’ll spend days searching, otherwise forget it.

Now I need to get back to my travel journals and see what more needs to be finished up on those. If the weather’s still bad tomorrow, I can easily work on that.

On the back burner is a plan to rearrange office furniture. That will require getting rid of clutter first, so the project could be time consuming. I need to think about it a while longer and work up my courage to tackle the job
