High Energy Day

For some reason, today was a high-energy day for me. It may be the last one for the rest of my life, who knows? But I put all that energy to good use: sorting and organizing about a six foot pile of papers (if they would stand together that high), vacuuming furniture, and working on email. I now have a handle on where most papers that were scattered around are located. The final sorting and filing will take more time. We won’t talk about the closets. That comes later. Much later.

My first victory at chess just occurred, but not without coaching from my opponent. He has an ulterior motive. He has spotted me several pieces and promised himself that, when I win 10 consecutive games, he gets them back. It is hard for this old head to absorb all the strategies that are possible in chess. Actually, it’s hard for this old head to absorb anything these days, or remember it.

It’s too soon to know with any certainty, but my diet changes may be creating more energy for me. Time will tell, as the old cliche’ goes.
