Don’t Bother Me with the Details

Everyone else in the world is going to talk about St. Patrick’s Day today, so I’ll pass on that. I’ve spent so much time at the computer and on the phone, that I need to get out of this seat.

We are working on the applications for visas to China. The instructions are written in English, but are fairly complicated. So far, the China part of the trip is the only one that requires a visa, according to the cruise line. However, according to the Visa Processing Service, visas are required by Russia, also. I’m trying to get a final determination on that from the cruise line, via the travel agency. After reading the requirements for a Russian Visa, I sincerely hope it’s not necessary. Their application is more complicated, costs more and takes longer to process.

This “bargain” cruise will be well earned by the time we take it. I’ll certainly heave a sigh of relief when I get both feet on the deck of that cruise ship. I hope that’s all I’ll heave on the trip.
