General News

My computer forgot what day it is again; I had to type it in. That’s not all bad, when I can correct the computer I’m fairly sure dementia is not yet setting in.

We have some nibbles on our house listing. A couple who walked through on the spur of the moment the other night is interested in buying it on a contingency, according to our realtor. He doesn’t recommend that we do that however because it ties it up during the best part of the selling season. A lady from California will be looking at it tomorrow. This park has had a lot of California buyers, so we can hope.

I started packing for the cruise trip today. I’ve pretty much decided what I’m going to take and set it aside. In a day or so, I’ll jam it into a bag. This time I hope to remember my sunglasses. I’m taking several kinds of preventive medicine. I hope to head off Norovirus, seasickness, and any other miscellaneous bugs running around. I’ve never been seasick before, but this will be the smallest ship we’ve cruised on and it may roll more than the bigger ones. We’ll see.

Somehow I didn’t get a nap today, after waking up earlier than usual this morning and driving out to Gresham so my daughter could use my car. She dropped me off on her way to Salem and will be coming back tomorrow. The starter suddenly quit on her car, so she was stranded. I’ll probably crash soon.
