Just Another Friday

As I mentioned earlier, I finished editing the first half of the travel logs from our recent trip and they’re posted to the Travel Log page of my website. It will be another week and a half before the rest of my travel logs are critiqued by my group and ready for the world to see. Now I can get back to editing memoir stories.

I did a little more packing for the move today. Two or three boxes a day is not a hardship and we still have almost three weeks before we can start moving.

Tonight while going through bookmarked sites, I discovered I have downloaded a number of free e-books I’ve never read. I guess I could put them on my laptop and carry them around to read on a trip or just read a few pages every time I sit down to rest. But that uses up writing time.

My barber returns from vacation tomorrow so I’ll try to get my shaggy head into her chair first thing in the morning. I’ve managed to last through our trip and her vacation trip home to Italy, but my hair is starting to look like Rod Stewart’s, not my favorite.

Our neighbor who likes to weed has been having fun in our yard today. It’s been looking really bad, but should be in good shape by the time we turn it over to the buyers.

Having most of our belongings in boxes piled up here and there, is a wonderful excuse not to do much housework. I welcome any excuse.
