Another Day, Another Delay

The carpet cleaners won’t be doing our job until tomorrow morning. They claim we can start moving in tomorrow afternoon, however. Cross all our fingers. This is one case in which anticipation is not half of the fun. I fear there ain’t gonna be any fun until the move is all over.

My eye exam went well today. No new lenses are necessary, but there’s a slight change in the prescription if I choose to get new glasses.

In anticipation of beginning our move today, I packed all my writing in progress. I know where it is, but I’m not going to get it back out, so I won’t be getting to the rest of the travel logs or other writing for a while.

There are a lot of writing contests with deadlines passing every day. I’m missing out on those, but the percentage of entry fees to prizes in the past hasn’t been that great.

I’m sure there are more packing chores that are calling to me, so I’d best get at them.
