Welcome, Cool Breezes

We awoke to a cloud cover and cool breezes--64 degrees in the living room. The high today is predicted to be only 83 or so. Such an improvement over recent weather is more than welcome. I took advantage of the cool morning to run two loads of laundry and dry them.

For at least two thirds of my life, it seems, I survived on four to six hours of sleep a night. Them days are gone forever, as they say. I had to sleep extra hours last night to make up for the night before or it appeared I’d be useless today.

I still have post-moving projects to finish, but I think I’ll work on editing travel journals this afternoon or evening. There are some things still in boxes that need to shrink or vanish completely so we can get everything put away.

We are looking forward to a dinner Friday night with Al’s sister and those of his children who may be able to come. I should get at least a couple of swims in before then to make up for all these Chinese and/or Mexican dinners.

I’d better get busy before I wear myself out talking about all those activities
