Every once in a while, I do something wonderful and do it right. It happens so seldom these days that it’s noteworthy when it does. When my webmaster son talked me through the procedure for adding pictures to my website entries, I typed up the instructions and saved them in Microsoft Word. That was several months ago and so I forgot where I put them and what I called them.

Now that I’ve finalized the travel logs from our last trip, I want to add pictures and can’t remember how. I just found them in the index under “Pictures.” Of course, that’s not the first place I looked. I checked for “Instructions” and “Website,” then went to “Picasa.” The index in my brain seems to be more and more jumbled every day.

After an hour or two of struggling, I now have pictures on a few of the recently added travel logs that can be found on Travel Archives on my website: http://www.musebooks.com

The King City Lions Club is having a flea market sale today and tomorrow in Town Hall, next door to us. My wide bedroom window is like a movie screen, but high enough up that no one can see in from below. I peek out every now and then to people watch. The parking lot is always full, so I’ll have to walk over there if I want to look further. It’s amazing how many of us senior citizens still go out and spend money on things we probably don’t need or even want. Then we turn around and put them in a garage sale. Maybe it’s the bartering instinct handed down by the Native Americans at work.
