Robins’ Rest Area

This morning I feasted my eyes on the biggest bunch of robins I’ve ever seen in one place. They scattered themselves among the three trees that fill the window above my computer. They flitted here and there for several minutes. A few brunched on bright red berries on the bush below the nearest tree. A couple of smaller birds mingled with them and a hummingbird fluttered through

But it was just a rest stop and they all left as quickly as they had first appeared..
