Cool Breezes Sneak Back

Here it is the end of another day and I’m trying to think of something clever to say. I could brag about living next door to a huge flea market sale for two days, and not even walking over there. Of course, that was a no-brainer considering I still have boxes I haven’t unpacked due to lack of space. I know there are a lot of things here I don’t need, even after winnowing down for the move. That will be another winter project.

I have a big hunk of sky and treetops visible through the window where I sit at my computer. The sky is a blend of lovely pinks, grays and purples tonight. The temperature has dropped dramatically. According to the cheap thermometer in the other room, it didn’t get to 70 degrees inside today.  Last night we had dinner on a deck in Molalla and shivered in a chilly breeze. We shouldn’t complain because we moaned enough when it was super hot. It will be hot again and we’ll wish we’d stored some of this cold.

I scanned some snapshots today to email to the mother of Al’s great-grandson. Kyran is a doll. His grandfather told us last night that he took his first three steps on his own this week. I hope the world will still be a livable place when he grows up. We all need to work on that.
