Road Rage

Today I heard a furious driver yell at another driver, “Dumb ass,” and I thought, Yes, you are! Of course, there was no opportunity to share that thought with the road rager--he had sped away.

Last year, according to AOL news, traffic deaths went up in this country. I wonder if anyone has studied the correlation between road rage and traffic deaths. I’ve heard that cell phone usage has been a subject of study.

Today was a lazy day relaxing outdoors and swimming, very restful and pleasant. Not only that, I was treated to brunch and dinner, so didn’t have to fix any food. I could get used to being spoiled that way.

As in my working days, Monday will bring me back to reality with household chores and correspondence, etc.

It was pretty hot today, and I’m cooling the apartment with fans and open windows before bedtime. The forecast is for a considerably cooler day tomorrow. Too soon, the rains will come again and winter won’t be far behind.
