Clearing the JungleRichard, of the jungle, came over today and cleared away the tangled wires around my computer. He set up my wireless router, and I’m now wireless. My desktop is across the apartment from the cable connections. When I get a wireless card for my laptop, it will be totally portable, also. I can now use the space on the shelf below my computer desk to rest my feet and not a jumble of cords. Since AOL is offering free service to users who have other internet connections, I think I’ll try switching to that. I’m so spoiled by their user-friendly software (for computer dummies) that learning another email service is a chore for me. In spite of my many hours of computer usage, I’m not particularly computer literate. Rather, I’d say, I’m word processing literate. After finishing the cleaning out of a file cabinet today, and driving myself through the wind and rain to the pool for my swim/exercise routine, I’m feeling pretty noble tonight.
I’ll be heading for bed and my self-described well earned rest shortly.
