Life is Good

Just had another great swim and exercise session. The spa hot tub was closed for repairs and that was a disappointment. I hope it won’t be closed for long. Changing weather affects arthritis adversely.

After running a few errands this morning, I came back and started going through my index of memoir stories to see which are pretty much finished and which need more work. Some need a lot more work. I also need to identify the stories that haven’t been started that I may want to include and get going on those. I guess I think I’m going to live forever, so there’s no rush.

Living forever (or at least as long as possible) seems to be a reasonable goal when all is going well in my life, as it is now. This apartment is cheerful and comfortable and I have a compatible companion. My children and their spouses are in reasonably good health and doing fairly well, so life is good.

I’m able to sleep well at night and often in the daytime, as well. Pain inhibits my walking any distances, but I don’t need to. My dependable car takes me anywhere I want to go. For now, all is well.
