Memoir Struggles

It occurs to me that, if you are going to write memoirs and don’t want to be overwhelmed by the project, you should start at about age ten. At my age, the proposed document looms ahead of me like a giant whale with its mouth gaping open.

I have a few general life stories I’ve collected over time, and I’ve been writing now and then about my employment history. I have worked for and with some interesting characters. Some were good people, and then there were others.  Fortunately, most of the ones who might be offended by my truthful characterizations of them, are dead or far away.

Probably the best way to start organizing what I have so far, is just to begin wherever the mood, or muse, strikes and get going. Now is undoubtedly the best time.
