Hot Friday Night in Senior City

We just had a delightful visit with my cousin and his wife from Scappoose. We had dinner with them at Home Town Buffet and a short visit afterwards at our place. Before Floyd got home from work, I spent a couple of hours with them, also. They are always fun.

I’m on a round robin of taking one pill to counteract the effects of previous pills, etc., ad nauseam (or close, anyway). My latest symptoms have the fortuitous ability to reduce my appetite. Maybe I shouldn’t try to cure them. Perhaps they are a blessing in disguise.

I’m working on memoir stories--eliminating some which overlap or duplicate others, revising some and determining which ones are complete and which need more work. When I finish the present group of stories, I can figure out what still needs to be written and added to the collection. When all the stories I want to use are complete, I can begin arranging them in some sort of order yet to be determined. Tedious work, but maybe there’ll be a book in there somewhere.

There are other books I could write if I had a clue as to the number of my allotted years/days. For now, I’ll concentrate on memoirs.
