What I Never Anticipated I’d be Doing at This Age

(For a departure from my usual blog style)

1. Making lunches for my 82-year old housemate to take to work.

2. Swimming four or five times a week.

3. Hot-tubbing whenever I choose.

4. Writing and tweaking travel journals of my trips to far corners of the world.

5. Celebrating 17 cancer-free years after a colon re-section.

6. Living in an apartment in a senior housing complex.

7. Re-learning how to play bridge.

8. Playing Bingo occasionally.

9. Paying all my bills on time and socking away a bit in savings.

And last, but not least, there were times when I wondered if I would be:

10. Waking up and breathing every day.
