Playing Catch-upMy off-again, on-again stomach is working okay at the moment. I had to miss swimming a couple of days, but got back to it today. I feel so much better after my exercises, a swim and five or ten minutes in the spa with the jets working on my joints. I started out the morning, after breakfast, at the computer playing a few bridge hands. One hand was very good, but we still went set because of my partner’s overbidding. The intricacies of bidding messages are not clear to me yet, so I may well have goofed and led my computer directed partner astray. Read the paper, read the email and snail mail, took a run to the store and then it was time for my swim. Time to cook dinner after that, and I cooked enough to freeze four servings for future reference. I’ll be in Seattle for about a week the end of this month with my sisters and, if Floyd can’t get his daughters to feed him, he can zap a leftover.
Little chores are stacking up on my desk. A letter to answer, prescriptions to order, an email report to send to my doctor, etc. all need to be caught up in the next two weeks. Floyd and his daughter will play golf tomorrow, so I may get some of that done. Maybe I’ll even get to some writing.
