Recreation to the Forefront

This morning we were treated to a free musical show put on by the Senior Theater. This group has been together for 17 years, I believe they said, and do many performances for retirement communities, nursing homes, etc. They also do a Christmas fundraiser show. Most of the cast are talented singers and dancers. They were extremely entertaining and I would rank them with any show I’ve seen on a cruise ship. They did a number of songs I haven’t heard for years, such as, Lydia the Tattooed Lady and Standing on the Corner Watching All the Girls Go By.

After a quick visit to my chiropractor at Noon, I had lunch and took a dry run to Canby to find the restaurant where I’ll meet a lady friend from Salem on Wednesday. I found it and came home on Highway 99E, a much more scenic route than the freeway.

Tomorrow we will go with a friend to visit a resort that we are interested in.

Later in the week I need to get some things done for the trip to Seattle. My car needs an oil change and tire rotation, as well as new wiper blades. I also need a haircut and should shop for a digital camera. Hopefully, I can get some writing done, in between those necessary tasks.

And now, back to the memoirs.
