Just a Line

Just a line or two before I go to bed to let you know I’m still around.

Today was very busy, got a haircut, got new tires, spent two hours with writer friends in my critique group. They liked my poem and made a few suggestions for minor tweaking.

The rest of the day was just the usual laundry, a bit of cooking and clearing some space in the guest room for a guest’s things. While I was doing that, I found some papers that had been missing for weeks.

I inadvertently took a two-hour nap tonight after dinner, so I’m running behind schedule.

Tomorrow my sister arrives from California and the odds are good that it’ll be raining, or at least not as nice as it has been recently. Oh well!
