Slow Day at Home

Today was computer cleaning day. I deleted dozens of files, maybe even hundreds that I don’t need any more. I’m sure there are still hundreds left that need to go. I dug out my flash drive and determined that I’ve forgotten exactly how to use it. I did find a lot of stuff on it that I can pick up on my laptop and work on when I’m away from home. I’ll be going out of town tomorrow with Floyd while he attends some meetings, and I can work on my stories then.

Reading and writing took most of the day, but I got in a good swim/exercise session and a dip in the hot tub for a shoulder that woke up screaming this morning.

It’s time for a new desktop computer, but I fear the new ones available now will have Microsoft’s new operating system on them and I don’t want to get one of the first ones out. I’d like to wait until they’ve killed a few bugs, so I’ll struggle along with this one, and use the laptop (notebook, whatever) if this gets too obstreperous.
