News Fit to Print and Pictures that Aren’t

My son-in-law Richard came over this morning and tweaked my notebook computer. It seems to know when someone has the upper hand and now it’s working beautifully. Even better than when he left since I cleaned and defragged. It’s great to have it available to use on my lap in front of the fire. With the wireless connection, I can go on line and do just about anything I want within the confines of the battery charge.

For those of you who are breathlessly following the saga of the Christmas tree, neither of us has the energy to deal with the lights tonight. We may get it decorated eventually.

The highlight of my day has been playing and becoming familiar with my Christmas present to us--a Kodak Easy Share digital camera with a printer docking station. Richard printed a picture from my computer while he was here and I’ve been practicing taking pictures tonight of the fireplace. Most of them will be deleted, but eventually I’ll get the hang of framing, etc. It’s definitely a fun toy and a challenge.

It took me a long time to research digital cameras, but I feel that this is a really good choice for an amateur like myself. Maybe I can start putting pictures up on my blog again and put some new ones on my website. After awhile
