Just Another DayToday we still had patches and strips of snow around, but it should be washed off by tomorrow morning’s predicted rain, if it doesn’t melt overnight. It wasn’t a very exciting or productive day today. I did do a little cleaning here and there, since we’re expecting company tomorrow, but not much. Our cleaning gal is due on Tuesday, and I don’t want to leave her nothing to do. I’m beginning to get acquainted with a few interesting women who swim when I do, even though I don’t always get there at the same time every day. Tonight I watched the movie Seabiscuit, again. It was definitely worth a second look. I watched it a couple of years ago on a cruise and was prompted to read the book after that. It’s a good story. My hair has been very slow to turn gray, but it’s finally getting there, much to my delight. I thought it might not ever happen, since my mother had very little gray in her hair when she died at age 85. My father was gray in his 70’s, so I must have inherited some of this from him. I’m glad I didn’t inherit his tendency to baldness; I think he passed that on to my son.
It’s time to get some rest. My nap has worn off, so it’s off to bed.
