Big and Small News/Rumors

Yesterday I read in a blog somewhere an article allegedly written by a Russian journalist claiming Russian military has intercepted U.S. military classified information on a plan to attack Iran on April 6th. Supposedly our military would bomb, possibly even using nuclear weapons, multiple targets in Iran. God help us if it’s true. Where did our fearless leader get the idea that we must kill, kill, kill to save the world?

I have lots more to say on that subject, but it’s a waste of breath. The choir is with me already and the ditto crowd has made up their heads and closed them tightly. I learned that lesson well a few years back when I raised my blood pressure writing letters to editors.

Off the soapbox and back on the ground, I scrolled through Amazon.com this morning to see what’s new with my book listings. There are a lot of used copies of my poetry book (My Muse Has Many Moods) for sale with prices ranging from $6.95 to $200.00 (collectible) one ad says. If the $200 copy in Arizona sells, I’d like to find out who had it and ask for a cut. I’d even settle for marketing lessons. I still have two hundred copies or so that are new that I’d sell for $5 apiece. See http://www.musebooks.com the website you can email me from for details.

My other book, Find Romance in Later Life, has been out for several years and some of the information is a bit dated. The stories in it, however, are still good for some chuckles, some lol’s, and a few sympathetic tears. To the best of my knowledge, all the tales are true. They were presented to me as such and, of course, I changed the names. So, if you’re interested in a fast, fairly entertaining read, order a copy, read it, and pass it on for a gift. It’s not a literary masterpiece to be preserved for posterity, but just a fun book
