After breakfast, Floyd came back to the cabin to rest and I began tending to last minute details. I read and sent email, hit the onboard shops for another look, and filled out the first of numerous forms connected with disembarkation. We awoke as the ship dropped anchor off Half Moon Cay, an island owned by Holland American Cruise Lines, in the beauteous Bahamas. During breakfast, we talked with a passenger from Canada, a retired schoolteacher, who referees volleyball to supplement his income.
