Our Last Day at Sea

image
Enroute to Beijing

After being rocked to slumber and sleeping soundly all night, we awoke to heavily overcast weather and more rocking and rolling in the whistling wind out in the Yellow Sea. We had coffee in our cabin and Al went to breakfast while I showered… . . . click here to continue

For our last several cruises, we have not had to wait for numerous announcements to leave the ship. Because we carry our own luggage, we’re permitted to leave… . . . click here to continue

Second Day in Beijing

On our last full day in Beijing, I’d lost my enthusiasm for exploring. In the morning, Al went out and looked around for some breakfast. In addition, there will be no charge for the medical services I received. Paranoia around the Norwalk virus (now known as Norovirus) prompts great generosity on the… . . . click here to continue

Ship Ahoy - Part Three

On Friday morning we had a quick breakfast, then left the ship to board a tram which took us across the dock to a terminal. A bus waited there to take us on a tour of Mazatlan. We met a couple on the bus, across the aisle from us, who were from Ridgefield, Washington. They said they always tell other… . . . click here to continue
